The 10th General Body Meeting of our Association was held on 10th July 2023 in premises of Ramalam. The discussions and resolutions re given below; You can read resolutions in TELUGU. 1. The scheduled date of meeting was postponed from first Monday 3rd July, 2023 to 10th July, 2023 as 3rd July was Gurupournima festival. Inspite of postponement, attendance of members is excellent. All the primary members were welcomed and thanked. 2. The followingThe members of the Association have their birthday in the month July. A. Prabhakar Rao Garu A.V. Murali Manohar Rao Garu G. All the members of the Association heartfully greeted happy birthday. 3. The President explained the conclusions of meeting with Corporator. At present there is no new building sanction, but renovation of the existing shed is possible. Hence the photograph of the shed and its location will be attached along with the application for further follow-up. 4. The submission of updated membership-registration form is still pending. The president requested all the members to submit the filled-in forms as soon as possible to either V Venu Mohana Rao garu or K Pandurangaiah garu. Tha last date for submission of updated membership-registration form is 7th August first Monday (in the next monthly meeting). 5. “OKA MANCHI MATA” : The reason behind conducting the program OKA MANCHI MATA was explained by the President Prof. Jayanth Kumar by narrating the story of Viswamitra and Vasista which illustrates the value of OKA MANCHI MATA. The story is given below in the following pdf. THE STORY OF VISWAMITRA AND VASISTA Under this program Prof. Jayanth Kumar explained the value of “NAMASKAR” quoting the story of touching the feet of Bhisma in the Kurukshtra war. He insisted all the members to teach their children, grandchildren and daughteinlaws, the value of touching the feet of elders and make them to practise. The story is given below in the pdf format. THE STORY OF TOUCHING THE FEET OF BHISMA IN THE KURUKSHTRA WAR. Valamani Satyanarayana Murty garu recited few Telugu poems explaining the value of Education (VIDYA) and explained in a simple way. 6. As the saying goes “The secret of living well and longer is, eat half, walk double, laugh triple and love with without measure"; B Ram Prasad garu put forth the concept of laughing exercise. It is a necessary exercise at this age. It keeps us healthy and happy. It gives exercise for all the muscles of the body. It gives a good breath too. Even then most of us know, it has not been practised. The President asked, If all of you agree why don’t we seed it today itself? All the members raised their hands and answered with a big laugh. President continued and said ‘whenever, where ever you meet in small groups while walking in the morning or evening, you start laughing exercise. Don’t hesitate to laugh, if you start laughing, others too join you unknowingly.' All the members stood and started laughing loudly for 2 minutes. The small video is enclosed below. Under the program “DOCTOR GAARI AAROGYA SALAHAALU”, Dr. CM Prabhu garu gave a clear picture in his explanation about prostate structure, size, it’s functions possible deceases like prostate enlargement and prostate cancer, their symptoms and differences in symptoms, diagnosis and care to be taken. Little idea about treatment and medication was also explained. 8. 8. In the QUESTION HOUR, the members asked questions about this topic. Dr Prabhu garu patiently answered all the questions. 9.
